Big Creek leans toward the rural, rustic, and serene – not quite primitive. A leaf rustling, bird singing, hand holding, toes-in-the-grass place. Dame Nature has graciously done Her part; we tweaked it a little by adding a vineyard and a charming winery. As a working vineyard & winery we will continue to grow grapes and make wine, but pivot from being open to the public to exclusive event host.
Lots of options are available to fashion a personal experience not usually available to smaller weddings. We offer flexibility in layout and location for the different phases; indoor, outdoor, or a combination of both. In addition to the vineyard and winery we have forest, creek, fields, nooks and crannies galore for photos.

Two areas which differentiate us from most venues are our policies concerning food and entertainment. You can choose your own caterer, hire a food truck, bring in a few grills, roll with potluck or just bring sandwiches and paper plates. The acoustics of the winery and our affection for our neighbors preclude the use of any amplified music. Acoustic music is always welcome,
or you may set your own playlist through our indoor/outdoor sound system.
Motels, bed and breakfasts, Air BnB’s, and glamping are available nearby. We are 20 minutes from Historic Jim Thorpe, with its own hotels, bed & breakfasts, and attractions.
Rates
Weddings
Our present capacity is 25 guests for a 6 hour wedding. Weddings should be scheduled within the hours of 11 AM – 8 PM. Setup can start any time after 7AM and takedown must occur an hour after the event. You may purchase additional time at the rate of $1000/hr. You will have exclusive use of the venue on your wedding day. Price can be negotiable based on your needs.

There is a 2 hour maximum, 25 guest limit. Additional time is $200 per hour. Any time for setup and takedown is included and is negotiable. Short notice subject to schedule constraints. Any date 2 months or less from signing must be paid in full.
Food, Drinks, & Music
Catering/food is entirely up to you. You can choose your own caterer or feel free to arrange your own potluck, pizza, sandwiches, whatever you can imagine. You’re even welcome to bring your own grill.
You may opt for an open bar or a cash bar (no minimum required). Keep in mind that Pennsylvania state law dictates that all alcohol served at our facility must be produced in Pennsylvania. If you would like to bring liquor and beer in addition to our wines, there is no extra charge.
Because we like our neighbors, only acoustic live music is permitted. You are also welcome to use your own playlist over our indoor speaker system.
We are pet friendly outdoors. Only service animals are permitted indoors. Emotional support animals are not permitted indoors.

Can I visit you to see if it’s a good match?

Can I really bring my own food?
You absolutely can. If you want to host a potluck-style wedding, please fill out our Hold Harmless Agreement. You are also welcome to bring your own grill.
Do you allow alcohol besides your own wine?
We have to provide all alcoholic beverages. We are only able to source Pennsylvania-made wine/beer/spirits according to state law.
Why don’t you allow amplified music?
The acoustics indoors are such that even normal voices carry extremely well. Amplified music would be painful, and it’s not good for the wine. We have a great rapport with our neighbors and we would never do anything to disturb their peace.
Can my dog be my ringbearer?
So long as you sign a waiver claiming full responsibility for their actions and make sure they stay outside, sure. Only service animals (does not include emotional support animals) are permitted inside. In fact, any animal you legally own is fine.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes, we have ample parking for guests and separate parking for vendors.
Is your venue accessible?
Yes, our winery building is ADA compliant. Please call us with any special needs, we will do our best to accommodate you.
